Staff help shape foundational design components such as calendar, schedule, and curriculum development, along with regular opportunities to share insights and collectively improve the experience for every stakeholder.

We Offer Competitive Benefits and Professional Development

Our Village of Scholarship starts with ensuring competitive compensation to our educators. YSCS offers a comprehensive and above market salary and benefits package that sets us apart from other schools. Teachers are offered a $1,250 stipend for pre-approved professional development, education coursework, or certification-related expenses, to encourage constant growth and progression as a community. Teachers can earn additional stipends for after-school programs and involvement in teacher leadership opportunities. Salary increases are available throughout teachers' duration at YSCS, varying based on the time spent at YSCS. Additional benefits include a guaranteed 5% match to retirement contributions, which are subject to additional match amounts after 5 years of service.
