Our Commitment to Anti-Racism and Social Justice Work:
At YSCS, our charge is to fight for equity, and fight for change that is needed in our communities and world. We commit to being an anti-racist organization that values equity, human rights, and social justice and denounces white supremacy and oppression in all forms. Furthermore, as educators we embrace critical pedagogy, liberatory consciousness and reflective praxis as core components of our program. We engage deeply as a community to ensure that all aspects of our work reflect these ideals in pursuit of a better world and future for our students.
